Chapter 2 – Introduction

Instructions

The introduction to the rules and regulations provides an overview of what the rules and regulations contain, in particular how they are structured and which other framework conditions apply. It should also include which sets of rules are present in the project, which of these is part of the contract (AIA or BAP) and how it is to be seen in connection with the service specifications and other project manuals.
The BAP is usually continued in the project, so the introduction should also provide information on how these adaptations are to be carried out (i.e. by which BIM role model) and any adaptations should be incorporated into the AIA.

The bSAT-AIA uses BIM management as a role model. If a client uses the role models BIM project management or BIM project control, the information for BIM management must be divided accordingly – see also LM.BIM 2025 of buildingSMART Austria.
