Simon Fischer presents the first microAPP of the openBIM Knowledgebase from buildingSMART Austria. IDS4ALL enables the creation of IDS files from conventional Excel lists. This innovative application closes a crucial gap that was previously not covered by commercial providers. This microAPP makes it possible for the first time to easily and efficiently convert existing Excel data into the standardized IDS format of buildingSMART – a major step forward for the accessibility and usability of this young standard.
