Green Public Procurement (GPP) is part of the European Green Deal and aims to ensure that public sector clients give preference to products and services with a lower environmental impact in their procurement. GPPs are public tenders in which environmental and social criteria are taken into account when awarding contracts. The DPP is becoming an indispensable tool for GPP implementation as it provides the necessary information to make informed decisions on public procurement and promote sustainable development.
