The European Green Deal10 is based on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and forms the basis for making the EU climate-neutral by 2050. By then, the EU aims to have no net greenhouse gas emissions. The EU has committed to implementing the SDGs and integrating them into its policies. The European Green Deal comprises various measures in the areas of climate, energy, transport, agriculture, industry and biodiversity.
