The Level(s) methodology21 is a framework for assessing and reporting the sustainability performance of buildings. It was developed to facilitate the application of circular economy principles in the built environment.
The Level(s) methodology uses core indicators to measure the carbon, material, water, health, comfort and climate change impact of a building over its entire life cycle. It is a flexible solution for identifying sustainability weaknesses and making your projects or entire portfolios more future-proof.
The method can be used on a voluntary basis to assess the sustainability of buildings. It is intended to serve as a reference framework for national approaches and facilitate the public procurement of sustainable buildings.
